We want you to have a really good time with us, and we will be trying to ensure that this happens.

We are keen cyclists and think this is the best way to see France, so we are geared this way. How keen? We will happily do a 100km round trip to go to the beach, and have fun while we are there. Our croissant run is 18km. The Traffic is light, the food is great, the amenities are fine, and the weather is (normally) just what you need for biking. We want to try to be as flexible as we can so that if say you want to borrow a tent, we will loan you one, assuming we have a suitable one to lend. If you have forgotten your rain jacket we might be able to find one of our ones. We will put panniers, front boxes and puncture repair outfits on the bike if you want them. We will show you how to maintain your bike/mend a puncture if you ask us. We will tell you about big rides we have done so you can try it out, or a short ride. We will happily lend you any maps we have.  We are also aware many people don't enjoy large mileage. We have some great ride a few miles, have lunch, wobble back ideas! We are aware that not everybody wants to ride an 853 lightweight road bike. We know some of you want wide saddles. If you are honest with us over your requirements we will try to make sure we either have what you want or will tell you what we have.Clip on pedals or rat traps? Bring yours, and your saddle and we will happily fit them to the bike for the duration of your stay. We will even on occasion, should you ask us, come with you.

The Holiday is geared to you enjoying yourself on pushbikes. If you want to lounge in five star luxury, we are probably not the people to come to. We won't mind you deciding to hang out for a day, or more, we won't mind you using the kitchen for light meals, but you should not expect to use our facilities for main meals, France is too good to let this happen!

In short consider us B&B hosts, trying to enhance your stay with us, you will be staying in a normal French house, not one specifically set up for B&B. We are about biking!

Lastly if for some reason you fall in love with the bike and want to buy it. Ask. It might cost less than you think. It might not in your eyes be worth it. There might not be a price! Some of our bikes have sentimental value to us.
